ONS Chapter Grants
Funding: Grants up to $2,500 for ONS Chapters seeking financial support for a research, education or leadership projects. Funding is available through the ONS Foundation’s endowment.
Eligibility: All ONS Chapters are eligible to apply for funding, regardless of previous funding. Only one application per Chapter may be submitted.
Only innovative, creative and original projects will be considered for funding.
The Foundation recognizes that expenses for some projects may be less than or greater than $2,500. If expenses are greater than $2,500 please indicate that in the budget section and identify which portion of the budget the ONS Foundation funds will support.
Restrictions: Restricted to ONS Chapters for projects in research, education or leadership.
Support for routine Chapter dinner meetings or routine continuing education programs are not a funding priority for this grant.
Timeline

| July 2012 | Distribution of funding |
| August 2012 – April 2013 | Project commencement. Projects may not commence prior to August 1, 2012, projects already underway or completed prior to August 1 will not be considered for funding. |
| Six Week Project Follow-up | Chapter of all funded projects are required to submit a final report 6 weeks after project completion |
| July 2013 | Select projects will be presented (podium and poster) at 2014 Mentorship weekend |
