Award: Dissertation research grant awards are available for up to $5,000 each. The funding period is for two years.
Purpose: These grants support oncology nursing research for PhD dissertations. Funding preference is given to research that addresses the ONS Research Priorities and/or the ONS Research Agenda.
Eligibility: The principal investigator must be a registered nurse (RN) actively pursuing a career in some aspect of cancer patient care, education, or research, and be a PhD student. Funding preference is given to projects that promote theoretically based oncology practice. Membership in ONS is not required for eligibility.
