Your Donations at Work

Since 1981, the Oncology Nursing Foundation has partnered with oncology nursing supporters, like you, to achieve the Foundation's mission to support cancer nursing excellence. Through generous donor support, the Oncology Nursing Foundation has provided more than $32 million in funding to support oncology nursing awards, grants, scholarships, and educational initiatives. These funds have played a critical role in improving patient care and advancing the oncology nursing profession.

The Oncology Nursing Foundation is a national, public, non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable organization headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA and dedicated to supporting oncology nurses from around the world.

"Receiving a research grant through the Oncology Nursing Foundation will provide us with the critical funding necessary to further our investigation of a cognitive rehabilitation intervention for cancer survivors experiencing changes in cognitive function. This intervention has shown early promise for improving the self-report of cognitive function. Foundation funds will support the next phase of our research, comparing two formats for virtual intervention delivery versus wait-list control.

“Expanding on roughly 17 years of oncology and stem cell transplant experience, firsthand watching the field revolutionize with the addition of cellular, gene, and immunotherapies, the 2021 Oncology Nursing Foundation Josh Gottheil Memorial Bone Marrow Transplant Career Development Award allows me the opportunity to attend the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Meetings of ASBMT and CIBMTR. The annual meeting representing more than 4,000 individuals highlights the latest scientific updates, new technologies, and innovative products to help healthcare professionals save and improve the lives of patients.“
