Welcome to the Oncology Nursing Society Foundation!

The ONS Foundation, nationally headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and the “giving arm” of the Oncology Nursing Society, the largest professional oncology association in the world. Since 1981, the ONS Foundation has provided more than $20 million to fund local and national oncology nursing education, research, and leadership opportunities.  In partnership with the oncology nurses we serve, the ONS Foundation has impacted the lives of countless patients with cancer, their caregivers, and their families.

ONS Chapter Grants

$1,000 grants to ONS Chapters seeking financial support for a research, education or leadership projects. All ONS Chapters are eligible to apply for funding, regardless of previous funding.  Note:  Only one application per Chapter will be accepted per funding cycle.  Application deadline – July 1, 2009. Download an application.

Celebrate Oncology Nursing Month! Cancer care is an art that requires many talents and skills. As an oncology nurse, you’re a caregiver with clinical knowledge and technical expertise, but you’re also much more than that. You’re a teacher, a listener, and a shoulder to lean on. You help people through one of the most trying times of their lives. Celebrate the work you do and the difference you make during Oncology Nursing Month!
